The Monaco Grand Prix


Grand Prix of Monaco is the slowest and hardest World Championship Formula 1.

The Historic Grand Prix of Monaco has existed since 1997. It takes place every two years before the Monaco F1 Grand Prix.

It takes place on the same circuit as the Grand Prix of Formula 1 with the added charm of the old cars that we offer a splendid retrospective of racing.

The Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) was born in 1925 after a general meeting bringing together 55 members of MAVS, Sport and Vélocipédique Automobile Monaco, created in 1890 under the name SVM, Sport Vélocipédique Monaco, and renamed in 1907 because of the importance were taking motor vehicles.

Nogés committed himself in a crazy project to create a race in Monaco and participate. Assisted by Louis Chiron, Club members and the Prince, Honorary President of the Automobile Club de Monaco, it will create the event and 14 April 1929, Prince Pierre inaugurated by a lap of honor to a Torpedo Voisin led by Charles Faroux race director, the circuit of the first Grand Prix of Monaco.
